Kim Seon-ho's Theater Show Sells Out Amidst Tax Evasion Allegations
Amidst the controversy surrounding actor Kim Seon-ho's alleged tax evasion, the advertising industry has begun to distance itself from him. However, the theater production he is set to star in has seen all tickets sell out for his performances.

According to TenAsia, all seats for Kim Seon-ho's performances in the play 'Secret Passage: INTERVAL,' scheduled from November 13 to December 22, have been sold out.

'Secret Passage' tells the story of two individuals who, having lost their memories in an unfamiliar space, encounter books filled with intertwined memories. The narrative explores themes of fate, death, and the repetition of life. Kim Seon-ho plays the role of Dong-jae, a man who seems to have spent a familiar time in this mysterious setting.

Currently, Kim Seon-ho is under suspicion of tax evasion, with allegations that he established and operated a performance planning company in January 2024, listing himself as CEO and his parents as directors, using his home address in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

In response, his agency, Fantagio, stated, "Kim Seon-ho is currently under an exclusive contract with Fantagio and is conducting his activities in compliance with all legal and tax procedures. There are no issues regarding his contract or activities with Fantagio."

They further clarified, "The one-person corporation mentioned in the reports was established for theater production and related activities, not for intentional tax evasion. However, since moving to Fantagio, the business activities have ceased for over a year, and the closure process is underway in accordance with relevant laws and procedures."

Following the controversy, fashion brand B has made a teaser video featuring Kim Seon-ho private on their official social media account, indicating the start of the advertising industry's withdrawal. Nevertheless, representatives from 'Secret Passage' have confirmed to multiple media outlets that "Kim Seon-ho will fulfill his scheduled performances."
