Kang Won-rae, a member of the group Clone, shared a touching story about visiting the grave of the late Seo Hee-won with Koo Jun-yup.

On the 3rd, Kang Won-rae posted on his Instagram, "Last summer, I read an article about Jun-yup visiting Hee-won's grave alone every day," adding, "Feeling sorry for not being able to attend the wedding or the funeral, I immediately went to Taipei."

He recalled, "There are a few steps to get to where Hee-won is, and Jun-yup carried me up and then went to the car to bring back three lunch boxes."

Kang Won-rae continued, "Jun-yup said, 'Hee-won, it's been a while since Won-rae came. Let's enjoy a meal together,' and tears started flowing, making it impossible for me to take a single bite. Jun-yup was also silently crying beside me," evoking a sense of poignancy.

Meanwhile, Seo Hee-won passed away suddenly from acute pneumonia during a family trip to Japan in February last year. Koo Jun-yup is known to have visited her grave at Geumbosan Cemetery daily to clean the tombstone.

Koo Jun-yup and the late Seo Hee-won first met in 1998. They were in a relationship for about a year, but Koo Jun-yup ended it due to opposition from his agency. Seo Hee-won later married a Chinese businessman in 2011 and had a son and a daughter, but divorced in 2021. Upon hearing this news, Koo Jun-yup called Seo Hee-won using her phone number from 20 years ago, leading to their reunion and marriage.
