On this day, 'Maybe Happy Ending' was nominated for the Grammy Award for 'Best Musical Theater Album' but did not win. The musical is a collaboration between Park and American composer Will Aronson, who are known to be close friends. Last June, it won six trophies at the 78th Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book, Best Original Score, Best Direction, Best Leading Actor, and Best Scenic Design.

In addition to 'Maybe Happy Ending', other K-pop nominees also missed out on Grammy wins. Rosé's 'Apartment' was nominated in three categories: 'Record of the Year', 'Song of the Year', and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance', but did not win. The group Cat's Eye was nominated for 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' and 'Best New Artist', but also did not secure a win. 'Golden', which led the global 'Kedehen' craze, was nominated for 'Song of the Year', 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance', 'Best Remixed Recording', and 'Best Compilation Soundtrack', but did not win any awards.
