Rising Star Heo Nam-jun Continues to Shine in 2026 with New Drama 'Brave New World'

Since his debut in 2019, actor Heo Nam-jun has been making waves in the entertainment industry, and 2026 is no exception.

Last year, Heo Nam-jun made a significant impression on the public early on by winning the Best New Actor award at the 16th Korea Drama Awards. He showcased his versatility on the small screen with roles in JTBC's 'A Hundred Memories' and 'The Story of Manager Kim Who Works at a Major Company in Seoul.'

In 'A Hundred Memories,' a retro melodrama that received much love, Heo Nam-jun played the lead role of Han Jae-pil, leaving a lasting impression. His portrayal of the character's journey from the pure excitement of first love to overcoming trials and growing stronger was praised for its depth and sensitivity. He also made a special appearance as Na Dae-ryong, a detailed and realistic psychiatrist, in 'The Story of Manager Kim Who Works at a Major Company in Seoul,' bringing warmth to the audience.

Demonstrating his versatility across genres, Heo Nam-jun is set to return to the small screen with SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Brave New World.' He will take on the role of Cha Se-gye, a charismatic and ruthless chaebol, expected to be at the center of the drama. Additionally, his character's complex romance with Lim Ji-yeon's characters, Kang Dan-shim and Shin Seo-ri, is anticipated to add a unique tension and engagement to the series.

'Brave New World,' featuring Heo Nam-jun, is set to premiere this May.
