VERIVERY's Kangmin Addresses Speculations on Joining 'Boys Planet' Spin-off Group
VERIVERY's Kangmin has spoken out regarding rumors about his involvement with a spin-off group from 'Boys Planet'.

On the 27th, Kangmin went live, stating, "I wanted to address this sooner, but I needed time to think. I felt it was important to understand what everyone was discussing and assess the situation."

He continued, "I know what you all want. So, I'll speak frankly. I've checked, and officially, I haven't received any offer for the spin-off group. I'm doing my best in the given circumstances to repay the love you've shown me."

Previously, through a fan communication platform, Kangmin expressed, "Some people ask why I participated in the program if this was going to happen. I joined to debut, but what can I do about being eliminated? I have to choose my path and give it my all." He added, "I don't want to fight with anyone. I want to make everyone who loves me happy. But there are many things we can't choose. Please don't say hurtful things to someone who's just trying their best to give back."

Kangmin debuted as a member of VERIVERY in 2019 and participated in Mnet's boy group survival audition program 'Boys Planet' last year. He finished in 9th place, narrowly missing the chance to debut. Recently, news broke that fellow 'Boys Planet' contestants Choi Lip Woo, Kang Woo Jin, and Jang Han Eum are preparing to debut as a spin-off group, drawing attention to whether Kangmin would join them.
