Actress Lee Min-jung Opens Up About Emotional Moment with Her Son

Actress Lee Min-jung recently shared an emotional experience involving her 11-year-old son that brought her to tears.

On the 27th, a video titled 'Meeting with Son Moms' Idol, Director Choi Min-jun, and Lee Min-jung's Tears' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ and Choi Min-jun's Son TV.'

In the video, Lee Min-jung met with other mothers raising sons and Director Choi Min-jun of 'Son TV.' She revealed, "When I was pregnant with my second child, I avoided meeting mothers with two sons, fearing it might rub off on me. After confirming my second child was a girl, I started meeting them. However, my daughter Seoi has a boyish nature, so it feels like raising a son."

Lee Min-jung confessed that she was brought to tears by something her son said. She recalled, "When we were in Hong Kong, Jun-hoo was wearing a shabby basketball shirt. I suggested he change clothes, saying, 'Even though we're in Hong Kong, if someone recognizes me, it might be embarrassing.' He then walked away from me."

Hurt by the word 'embarrassing,' Jun-hoo ignored his mother even in the airport lounge. When he spilled water while pouring it for himself, he retorted with a rebellious tone, "You spill too," pointing out his mother's earlier criticism of him spilling.

Lee Min-jung shared, "Hearing those words, something suddenly rose from within me, and I wondered, 'Is he going through puberty?' The slightly rebellious tone made me think of that. I told Jun-hoo, 'You promised to tell me if you start feeling aggressive, right? I think it's starting. I don't want to dislike you when you hit puberty,' and I cried."

Jun-hoo comforted his crying mother, admitting, "That's not it, I was just sulking because you said you were embarrassed." Lee Min-jung reflected, "I was scared thinking my son was going through puberty, but I overreacted. Just thinking about it makes me so sad," showing a vulnerable side that caught attention.
