K-Pop Star Lee Soo Sees $7 Million Increase in Seoul Property Value Over Six Years
K-Pop singer Lee Soo, whose real name is Jeon Kwang-cheol, has seen the value of his building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, increase by approximately $7 million over six years.

According to recent reports, the building Lee Soo purchased in October 2019 has appreciated significantly, resulting in a market value increase of around $7 million.

Lee Soo originally bought the five-story building, which includes a basement, for approximately $8.94 million. He acquired the property under his name and entrusted it through a bank trust loan, rather than a conventional mortgage, leaving the exact loan amount undisclosed. However, it is speculated that he may have utilized a loan covering 80-90% of the purchase price.

The building, completed in 2017, is located in a residential area near Hakdong Intersection and is about an 8-minute walk from Gangnam-gu Office Station, where subway lines 7 and the Suin-Bundang Line intersect.

Currently, Lee Soo's entertainment agency, '325E&C,' occupies part of the building, with other tenants including a restaurant and a Pilates studio.

Recent transactions in the area have been reported at approximately $5,400 to $5,900 per square meter. Based on these figures, Lee Soo's building is estimated to be valued at around $15.9 million, potentially yielding a profit of about $7 million if sold.

In personal news, Lee Soo married fellow singer Lyn in 2014, but the couple amicably divorced in August last year after 11 years of marriage.
