Korean Actress Ko So-young Showcases $300 Million Building in Hannam-dong
On the 23rd, Ko So-young's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'It's good to play alone or go on a date, but I'm alone...'.
In the video, Ko So-young said, "Today, I want to introduce a place in Hannam-dong that's great for spending time alone. Sometimes it's nice to have some time to yourself."
She humorously added, "We celebrate both the solar and lunar New Year, so we can't play around. We have to meet our ancestors."
While walking through Hannam-dong, Ko So-young proudly pointed out, "Our building is doing well. Isn't it the prettiest among the buildings here? The European-style design is so beautiful." She even greeted the building affectionately, saying, "Hello, Hyoja."
Jang Dong-gun purchased the building in June 2011 for 12.6 billion won, and as of May last year, its market value was estimated at around 30 billion won, yielding a profit of approximately 17.4 billion won over 14 years.
Ko So-young is also a real estate mogul, owning three buildings in Seoul's Cheongdam-dong, Hannam-dong, and Songjeong-dong. The combined market value of the buildings owned by the Jang Dong-gun-Ko So-young couple is reported to exceed 40 billion won.
Meanwhile, Ko So-young married actor Jang Dong-gun in May 2010, and they have a son, Jang Jun-hyuk, and a daughter, Jang Yoon-seol.
