Kwon Sang-woo Addresses Pronunciation Controversy Amidst 'Heartman' Promotions
On the 19th, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yup' featured actors Kwon Sang-woo, Moon Chae-won, and P.O from the movie 'Heartman.'
During the show, Kwon shared, "When we were filming 'Jjanhyung' before, my family was visiting from the U.S., and they are here again for 12 days. When my wife (Son Tae-young) visits, it feels like we're filming 'Jjanhyung.' I slept in the living room after filming last time, and she told me to sleep there again today," drawing attention.
Moon Chae-won humorously revealed about Kwon, who is living apart from his family in the U.S., "During gatherings, he would say, 'I've been alone at home for too long, so it's nice to come out and talk.'"
Previously, Lee Byung-hun, who appeared on 'Jjanhyung,' teased Kwon about his golf skills, saying, "His slice comes back like a boomerang. He shouted, 'Love comes back!'" Kwon confidently responded, "I play golf better now. My fashion sense is also better than Byung-hun's."
Kwon expressed his desire to do one more action, romance, and comedy film before retiring, saying, "Now that I'm older, I don't get many romance roles."
Regarding the 'th' pronunciation, Kwon stated, "I have a long tongue. People have misconceptions. I don't think my pronunciation is inaccurate. Honestly, where else can you find a pronunciation like 'Ddeeltangnim (Manager)?'"
He added, "I think memes like 'Love comes back' are my lifeline," showing his good-natured personality. P.O teased, "Your pronunciation is accurate when acting, but it turns into 'th' when you sing," causing laughter.
