Park Shin-hye Opens Up About Life Changes After Marriage and Her Acting Journey
On the YouTube channel 'Yoo Yeon-seok's Weekend Drama', actresses Park Shin-hye and Ha Yoon-kyung made an appearance on the 10th.
Recalling her connection with Yoo Yeon-seok, Park Shin-hye said, "We worked together 11 years ago on 'The Royal Tailor'. He played the king, and I was the queen."
Park Shin-hye, who once had a variety of hobbies like Yoo Yeon-seok, mentioned, "I used to play golf, snowboard, wakeboard, surf, and do dance play, but now I only play golf." When Yoo Yeon-seok commented, "Shin-hye is the type who can't stay still at home," Park Shin-hye responded, "In my 20s, I loved going out for healing, but in my 30s, I prefer staying at home," reflecting her changed lifestyle.
Ha Yoon-kyung shared, "As a child, I enjoyed watching OCN and CGV late into the night, wondering how acting was done. I later studied acting and appeared in independent films. I still make independent films because creating them from an equal position is fun, and the diverse subjects are healing."
Having played many professional roles, Park Shin-hye noted, "I've played a lawyer, judge, and doctor, but I've never been a prosecutor, detective, or teacher."
When asked if she has a desire to play a villain, Park Shin-hye said, "I'm confident I can do it well, but I haven't been cast for such roles. Even when I try hard to be mean, people just laugh." Ha Yoon-kyung added, "I'm confident in playing a villain too, but I haven't been given the chance. Because of the image I built with 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', people think I'm nice and approach me easily. I'm grateful for the good roles I've received."
Meanwhile, Park Shin-hye married actor Choi Tae-joon in 2022, and they have a son named Joo-won.
