I.O.I to Reunite for 10th Anniversary Celebration, Excluding Kang Mina

I.O.I, the popular girl group that debuted in May 2016, is gearing up for a special reunion to celebrate their 10th anniversary next year. However, Kang Mina, who has transitioned into acting, will not be participating due to scheduling conflicts with her upcoming projects.

The group has already secured a venue for their performance. Member Yoo Yeonjung shared this exciting news during her appearance on KBS Cool FM's 'Oh My Girl Hyojung's Volume Up' on the 22nd. A listener inquired about I.O.I's future activities, prompting Yoo Yeonjung to reveal their plans.

"We were planning to surprise everyone, but Jeon Somi has already mentioned it quite a bit, so many fans are aware," Yoo Yeonjung explained. "Yes, we are reuniting. I can't share all the details yet, but we have already booked the venue."

Regarding the timing, she hinted, "Think of our debut during the warm spring season." She added, "Since it's a monumental 10th anniversary, we're preparing diligently. Please look forward to it," further heightening anticipation among fans.
