Yoo Jae-myung Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Stories from 'Itaewon Class' and More
On the 22nd, Yoo Jae-myung and Yoon Se-ah appeared on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yup' to discuss their drama 'Love Me.'
During the episode, Yoon Se-ah revealed a behind-the-scenes story about a kiss scene with Yoo Jae-myung. She said, "He was so shy. We talked a lot about the kiss scene beforehand, but he said he couldn't rehearse and wanted to go for it in one take."
Yoo Jae-myung confessed, "I was embarrassed, so I suggested we do it in one take, and we got an okay on the first try. It was complete method acting," bringing laughter to the set.
Yoo Jae-myung responded, "My wife is in the same industry, so she doesn't mind at all. She's very understanding about work, and she doesn't even mind if I stay out overnight. We've been married for seven years."
Yoon Se-ah is busy with her personal schedule, engaging in various fitness activities like running, Pilates, yoga, swimming, and personal training.
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-myung shared that he was considering retirement after a series of failed auditions when he was cast in his iconic role in 'Reply 1988.' He revealed, "Originally, my character didn't have a house, wife, or eldest son, but I ended up filming until the end."
He continued, "At that time, I was living in a rooftop room with a rent of 30 per month, and my wife treated an injured cat. I think that cat brought us good luck."
Yoo Jae-myung made a surprising confession, "I was originally offered the role of Park Seo-joon's father in 'Itaewon Class,' but I declined due to scheduling conflicts. Later, I asked if I could play Chairman Jang, and that's how I got the role."
