Korean Actress Ko So-young Showcases Friendship with Former T-ara Member Hyomin in Makeup Tutorial Video

Korean actress Ko So-young recently highlighted her enduring friendship with former T-ara member Hyomin.

On the 12th, Ko So-young's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'Beginner Makeup Tutorial Learned Directly from the Shop (Daily and Year-End Party Makeup)'.

In the video, Ko So-young shared, "I often film myself while doing YouTube. I want to show you a daily makeup look and a special point makeup for the upcoming year-end."

To demonstrate a before-and-after transformation, Ko So-young stated, "I'm almost bare-faced. I didn't even draw my eyebrows. Watch how I change," capturing viewers' attention.

Regarding her current makeup artist, Ko So-young mentioned, "I have seagull eyebrows, and without even asking what kind of makeup I wanted, they immediately started shaping my eyebrows. That alone made me trust them completely."

The makeup artist humorously added, "You're the first to touch my eyebrows," to which Ko So-young responded, "Am I scary? I guess I look cold when I'm quiet," bringing laughter.

The daily makeup concept was described as 'natural like myself.' The makeup artist expressed, "Ko So-young's image is restrained luxury," and Ko So-young added, "It's a sophisticated feel. I'm older, so it's not like the sparkling idol look."

As the makeup session extended, Ko So-young remarked, "Is this really daily makeup? I do everything in three minutes at home. I'm very impatient," expressing surprise. The makeup artist praised her, saying, "If you look like you, you don't need makeup."

When asked about her personal color, Ko So-young humorously revealed, "I thought I was warm-toned, but everyone says I'm cool-toned," causing laughter.

The makeup artist shared a tip for 'shortening the philtrum' makeup, explaining, "Use powder to control oil, create an over-lip, and add natural shading to the philtrum area, then extend the corners of the lips." Ko So-young marveled, "Doesn't my philtrum look shorter?"

Meanwhile, Ko So-young shared, "I was recently invited to Hyomin's house. She made colored lenses," and showcased herself trying them on. She concluded with a promise, "I think I've shown you my raw self. I'll show you a more developed version," before heading home with a full makeup look, bringing smiles.
