Former EPEX Member Keum Dong-hyun Joins Management RUN for New Career Chapter

Keum Dong-hyun, formerly of the group EPEX, has signed with Management RUN. Previously, Keum was an artist under C9 Entertainment, known for representing singer Younha, but he announced his departure from the agency and the group last month on the 22nd.

On the morning of the 5th, Management RUN stated, "Despite being only 17 years old at the time, Keum Dong-hyun appeared on 'Produce X 101,' where he was recognized for his singing skills with a deep voice and impressive dance abilities. He quickly gained popularity and the nickname 'Keumdongie' from fans. We have signed an exclusive contract with him, and we ask for warm interest and support for the new journey that Keum Dong-hyun and Management RUN will embark on together."

In 2021, Keum appeared in the TVING series 'Writing Your Destiny,' where he played a first love hockey player, captivating fans with his handsome looks and charming gaze. He also starred in the 2020 drama 'Best Mistake 2' and the 2021 series 'Best Mistake,' which collectively garnered over 50 million views, playing the role of Kang I-han, a younger male character, winning over viewers with his signature eye smile.

Even before his official debut, Keum showed great potential as an actor, and he continued to grow by appearing in the 2022 drama 'The World You Fall Into,' playing the important supporting role of Shin Han-se. During his time with EPEX, Keum stood out and also served as the main MC for MBC M's 'Show! Champion,' showcasing his versatility.

Management RUN, which represents talents like Park Sung-woong and former B1A4 member Jinyoung, has established a new team for idol-turned-actors, including Keum Dong-hyun. They plan to provide extensive support for his activities both domestically and internationally.
