KARA's Han Seung-yeon and Kang Ji-young Mourn the Loss of Beloved Pets

KARA member Han Seung-yeon has bid farewell to a cherished companion.

On December 3rd, Han Seung-yeon shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram, writing, "2011.02.20-2025.11.28. Let's meet again, my dear. Next time, let's play forever," accompanied by several photos and a video.

The shared images capture precious moments between Han Seung-yeon and her late pet dog. This news comes shortly after fellow KARA member Kang Ji-young announced the passing of her pet cat, leaving fans saddened.

Kang Ji-young's cat passed away on November 29th. On December 1st, she reflected, "My pet was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma. It was a rare case, making treatment difficult, and there were many challenging days."

Kang Ji-young expressed her enduring grief, saying, "For nine years, this pet was with me through every moment. While I find solace in knowing they are no longer in pain, it's still hard to believe."

Meanwhile, Han Seung-yeon and Kang Ji-young's group, KARA, debuted in 2007. With hit songs like 'Pretty Girl' and 'Mister,' they gained immense popularity not only in Korea but also in Japan.
