Lee Min-jung Receives Praise from Mother-in-Law for Her Kimchi Kimbap Skills

Actress Lee Min-jung has received high praise from her mother-in-law.

On October 2, Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' featured a video titled 'BH's Childhood Favorite Kimchi Kimbap Recipe. Learned Directly from My In-laws.'

In the video, Lee Min-jung shared her mother-in-law's kimchi kimbap recipe. Known to be a favorite of director Park Chan-wook, Lee Byung-hun's mother, Park Jae-soon, revealed the secret to the dish: "Season the rice well and add plenty of sesame seeds and sesame oil."

During filming, when noise was heard, Lee Min-jung called out to her son, "Jun-hoo!" to which he humorously replied, "I didn't do anything!"

Impressed by her mother-in-law's quick hands, Lee Min-jung tried her hand at making the dish herself. When the production team asked Park Jae-soon to name three things she admired about her daughter-in-law, she humorously pretended to be flustered, saying, "That's not easy. It's a difficult question," causing laughter.

Park Jae-soon praised Lee Min-jung, saying, "She has a great personality and treats her husband very well. I'm grateful. She raises her children well and manages the household excellently. There's nothing to criticize."

Feeling embarrassed, Lee Min-jung joked, "I'm glad my husband isn't here. If he were, he would have had a lot to say."

During the staff tasting session, when one staff member exclaimed, "This looks so delicious," Jun-hoo amusingly warned, "You shouldn't swear."

Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung and Lee Byung-hun married in 2013 and have a son and a daughter.
