Philippines Tourism Department Successfully Concludes 'LOVE THE PHILIPPINES: SUN MEETS SEOUL' Event

The Philippines Department of Tourism announced the successful conclusion of the interactive pop-up event, 'LOVE THE PHILIPPINES: SUN MEETS SEOUL,' held from November 21 to 23.

On November 22, actor Seo In-guk, the Philippines Tourism Ambassador, made a special appearance, receiving an enthusiastic response from attendees. Since being appointed as the tourism ambassador in February, Seo In-guk has been actively promoting the diverse travel attractions of the Philippines to both domestic and international fans, sharing his travel experiences on social media.

The pop-up event was designed to bring the allure of the Philippines, an ideal warm winter destination, to the heart of the city. Visitors enjoyed a rich sensory experience through exhibitions and interactive programs that captured the essence of warm sunshine, blue seas, and tropical vibes.

Following the event, Dr. Erwin F. Balane, the head of the Philippines Department of Tourism in Korea, stated, “This pop-up was more than just a promotional booth. It was designed with diverse travel content, including photo zones, cultural experience zones, and travel information booths, allowing visitors to instantly enjoy the 'travel vibe.' We will continue to present such experiential marketing projects to share the unique charm of the Philippines with more people.”
