Former Lovelyz Member Lee Mi-joo Faces Unexpected Remarks on the Streets
On the 28th, the YouTube channel 'Just Lee Mi-joo' released a video titled 'K-Gyaru Girl Mi-joo (feat. Gyaru Makeup)'.
In the video, Lee Mi-joo embarked on a one-day gyaru experience. Gyaru is a subculture representing Japanese women who prefer unique fashion and lifestyle. Lee Mi-joo transformed with iconic gyaru fashion and makeup.
When the production team suggested, "Let's play princess today," Lee Mi-joo humorously responded, "We should rate this 19+, it's about time. Everything but my face should be pixelated," showing her playful side.
After changing into a 'cute sexy' outfit, Lee Mi-joo expressed her taste, wondering, "Am I getting into this world too?" She then asked, "How can I get some attention?" but worried, "I feel like no one will recognize me."
Transformed beyond recognition, Lee Mi-joo also conducted a concept photoshoot. When a staff member, surprised, commented, "You look like a celebrity," Lee Mi-joo humorously emphasized, "I am a celebrity."
The term 'landmine' refers to a woman who appears pretty but is mentally unstable, like a landmine that explodes when stepped on. Lee Mi-joo retorted, "I am a celebrity, you know."
Even when Lee Mi-joo openly greeted people, they didn't recognize her, and some even avoided her. She lamented, "I didn't expect no one to pay attention to me. People run away when I try to talk to them."
