Actress Chae Si-ra Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Late Lee Soon-jae
Actress Chae Si-ra has expressed her heartfelt tribute to the late Lee Soon-jae, evoking a sense of poignancy.

Recently, Chae Si-ra took to her Instagram to share, "In 1999's 'A House of People' and 2015's 'Unkind Women', I played the role of his daughter. On December 18th of that year, in the dressing room of the play 'The Crucible', with father Lee Soon-jae," she wrote. "During breaks, he would share many stories, making time fly by. He was a living witness to the history of drama and film. Thank you for all your hard work, Lee Soon-jae. May you rest peacefully as a respected teacher even in that place..."

In the photo, Chae Si-ra is seen taking a warm selfie with Lee Soon-jae, both smiling brightly, which evokes a sense of nostalgia. Many fans who saw the photo paid tribute to the late Lee Soon-jae.

Meanwhile, Lee Soon-jae passed away on the morning of the 25th at the age of 91.

Lee Soon-jae debuted in 1956 with the play 'Beyond the Horizon' and gained immense love for his roles in dramas such as 'What is Love', 'Hur Jun', 'Dong Yi', 'Men of the Bath House', 'Mom's Dead Upset', and the sitcom series 'High Kick'.

Additionally, Lee Soon-jae was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit in 2002 and the Silver Crown Cultural Medal in 2018. Last year, he received the KBS Drama Award as the oldest recipient in history. The government posthumously awarded him the Gold Crown Cultural Medal, the highest honor in the field of culture and arts.
