Actor Go Kyung-pyo Discusses Weight Loss Struggles and Upcoming Projects

Actor Go Kyung-pyo recently opened up about his struggles with weight loss after receiving payment for a project.

On the 21st, the YouTube channel 'Curious? Heo Kyung-hwan' released a video titled 'Hello, It's Me, How Are You? - Let's Meet and Talk'.

In the video, Heo Kyung-hwan conducted a phone interview with his close friend, actor Go Kyung-pyo. Heo explained, "It's hard to get busy stars, so we'll have a phone conversation instead."

When Go Kyung-pyo mentioned that he would be happy to appear in person, Heo humorously replied, "I'm busy these days," causing laughter.

When asked about his recent activities, Go Kyung-pyo shared, "I'm producing a film as a producer and currently filming a drama with actress Park Shin-hye." Heo jokingly asked, "Are you a confirmed actor?" bringing more laughter.

The drama Go Kyung-pyo is filming is 'Undercover Miss Hong,' set to premiere on tvN next year, featuring Park Shin-hye, Ha Yoon-kyung, and Jo Han-gyeol. When Heo asked if he was the lead, Go humbly replied, "The role isn't that big, but they made me the lead."

Heo Kyung-hwan mentioned his favorite Go Kyung-pyo role in 'No Secret,' where he played a comedic character. Go revealed, "This time, I'm playing a serious role as a CEO of a securities company during the IMF era." He added, "It's time to stop being funny," but also admitted, "I enjoy making people laugh."

Go Kyung-pyo is known for his fluctuating weight before and after projects. When Heo commented on his recent weight loss, Go confessed, "I've gained it back. It's not easy."

Heo humorously exposed Go's drinking habits, saying, "You tend to show your belly when you drink."

As the first guest on 'Let's Meet and Talk,' Heo promised Go, "I'll bring beef and drinks next time," to which Go replied, "Please don't edit this out."

After the call, Heo expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm really comfortable with Kyung-pyo. When we eat or drink together, he makes others feel at ease. Thanks for being so accommodating today. I don't call people I'm uncomfortable with."
