NewJeans' Danielle Spotted Post-Contract Dispute Ruling: A Happy 10K Run with Former Marathoner

NewJeans member Danielle has been seen for the first time since the initial court ruling on the exclusive contract dispute with ADOR.

Former marathon runner Lee Yeon-jin shared several photos on Instagram on the 2nd, captioning them, "A happy 10K run with Danielle 💜 Congrats on achieving a 46-minute personal best 🥳."

The photos show Lee and Danielle posing with their completion medals. Lee praised Danielle, saying, "So proud of you, you ran so well," accompanied by a thumbs-up emoji.

On the 30th, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Agreement Division 41, presided by Judge Jeong Hoe-il, delivered the first ruling on the lawsuit filed by ADOR against NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein regarding the validity of their exclusive contracts. The court stated, "It is difficult to see that the defendants (NewJeans) are being forced to engage in entertainment activities against their will," confirming the validity of the exclusive contracts between ADOR and NewJeans, dismissing all claims of contract violations by NewJeans.

On the same day, NewJeans' legal representative, Shin & Kim LLC, issued a statement saying, "While the members respect the court's decision, they believe it is impossible to return to ADOR and continue normal entertainment activities due to the complete breakdown of trust." They announced plans to appeal the first-instance ruling immediately.

Meanwhile, the current exclusive contract between NewJeans and ADOR is known to last until July 31, 2029.
