MBC Announcer Kim Su-ji Welcomes Baby Daughter

Kim Su-ji, an announcer for MBC, has given birth to a daughter.

On the 16th, Kim shared a brief message, "I will enjoy it," on her Instagram story, accompanied by a photo.

The photo revealed a fruit basket sent by the MBC announcer department, with a message congratulating Kim on her new arrival, indicating that she had quietly welcomed her baby.

Previously, Kim appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and shared her struggles with severe morning sickness, mentioning, "I once had to rush to the bathroom during a live broadcast of 'News Desk' due to intense nausea."

In addition to her broadcasting career, Kim is also a lyricist. She has written lyrics for songs by Red Velvet, NCT DREAM, NMIXX, ENHYPEN, and ILY:1, with 32 songs registered with the Copyright Association. Regarding her royalties, Kim stated, "Sometimes the share is significant, and other times it's not. There are months when I earn as little as 30,000 won, and other times it exceeds 10 million won."

Born in 1989, Kim Su-ji is 35 years old this year. She joined MBC as a contract announcer in 2017 and became a full-time employee in 2018. She married Han Ki-joo, who is two years her senior, in 2022 and was expecting to give birth to her daughter in October.
