LG Twins Pitcher Lim Chan-kyu Denies Wedding Rumors with Pro Golfer Son Sae-eun

On the 13th, multiple media outlets reported that Lim and Son would be tying the knot on December 12 at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Lim Chan-kyu, however, took to his social media the same day to refute the news. He stated briefly on his social media story, "The news about getting married this year is not true, and I will inform you directly once it's decided."
Lim Chan-kyu and Son Sae-eun began their public relationship in January 2022 and have since expressed their affection for each other on social media, garnering attention and support from fans through what is known as 'Lovestagram.'
Lim Chan-kyu once shared a story about their first meeting on a variety show. He recalled, "I went on a blind date wearing Versace shoes with a big Medusa design. I changed my pants, but because of my large shoe size, I wore the same shoes, and she didn't mind at all."
Meanwhile, Lim Chan-kyu, who joined the LG Twins in 2011, has been a consistent part of the starting rotation. This season, he has been a key player for the team, recording 11 wins, 7 losses, and an ERA of 3.03 over 27 games. Son Sae-eun, the younger sister of former Apink member Son Na-eun, debuted as a professional golfer in 2017 after joining the KLPGA.
