Korean Doctor Han Chang Addresses Rumors About Hospital Sale

Korean doctor Han Chang has spoken out about rumors regarding the sale of his hospital.

On October 9, the YouTube channel 'Go Eun Unnie Han Go Eun' released a video titled 'Jang Young Ran Couple Stunned by Han Go Eun's Homemade Meal Full Course Recipe?! YouTube Celebration Visit★'. In the video, broadcaster Jang Young Ran appeared with her husband Han Chang to share updates on their lives.

During the video, Jang Young Ran asked Han Go Eun's husband, Shin Young Soo, "Is it okay for you to call yourself unemployed?" Shin Young Soo replied, "At first, it wasn't okay. Honestly, it still bothers me a little." Jang Young Ran shared, "My husband was also very stressed at first."

Jang Young Ran continued, "Isn't your brother-in-law a capable person? My husband has a license, so he can open a clinic anytime." Shin Young Soo agreed, "That's right. Han Chang can start again anytime. His license hasn't disappeared. For office workers, the concept of a license diminishes over time." He added, "The rumor about a scouting offer is just that—a rumor. There was no such offer."

Jang Young Ran mentioned, "When my husband was running the hospital, he seemed to think family was more important." She added, "During that time, the business was tough, and we often argued, but since closing the hospital, we hardly fight. Now, he looks more relaxed." Han Chang humorously added, "I got Botox for the first time."
He confessed, "I'm okay with being called unemployed, but there were many misunderstandings about why I sold the hospital." He continued, "I didn't sell it because I was struggling with deficits. However, there were many comments like 'He sold it because it failed' or 'He must have closed it due to lack of skill.' My wife was more hurt by those comments."

Han Chang explained, "The main reason was to prevent any harm to my family. I didn't want to hold my wife back while she was working outside." He added, "I'm proud of my wife's hard work, but there were reactions like 'She's supporting her husband' and 'It must be tough for her.' Hearing those made me feel sorry."

He further shared, "I transformed those emotions into spending time with my children. As the time spent together accumulated, it became my role and learning experience."

Jang Young Ran concluded, "My husband loves treating patients. I think he might open a small clinic again after some time. For now, I hope he enjoys his sabbatical. He worked seven days a week."

Han Chang married broadcaster Jang Young Ran in 2019, and they have two children. In 2021, he opened a 400-pyeong Korean medicine hospital, which garnered attention.
