Korean Comedian Jung Se-hyeop Passes Away at 41

On November 7th, KBS2's 'Gag Concert' expressed their condolences on their official social media, stating, "We deeply mourn the unfortunate news of comedian Jung Se-hyeop's passing. May he rest in peace."
Jung Se-hyeop debuted as a comedian in 2008 through SBS's 10th open recruitment. He gained popularity through comedy shows like 'People Looking for a Laugh' and 'Gag Tonight.' He was particularly known for his 'Chao Chao' catchphrase and Chow Chow costume on 'Gag Tonight,' which brought much laughter to audiences.
In 2015, it was revealed that Jung was battling leukemia. After a successful bone marrow transplant, he announced his recovery in 2022 and made a comeback on KBS2's 'Gag Concert,' receiving much support from fans.
Jung Se-hyeop's memorial is being held at Room 2 of the Hwaseong Hambak Mountain Funeral Home in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The funeral will take place on November 9th at 7:40 AM, with the burial at Hambak Mountain Memorial Park.
