Actor Ryu Jin Discusses Sons' Potential Acting Careers and Family Life in New Home Tour

Actor Ryu Jin recently opened up about the possibility of his two sons pursuing acting careers.

On the 29th, the YouTube channel 'Most Stylish Ryu Jin' featured a video titled 'First Look After Moving! Ryu Jin's 47-Pyeong House Decorated for 20 Million Won.'

In the video, Ryu Jin showcased his newly decorated home after moving. He humorously mentioned filming certain areas without his wife's permission, saying, "It should be fine," which brought laughter.

Ryu Jin shared the story behind a framed picture from his 20s drama 'Seodongyo.' He revealed, "I wondered if it was a gift from fans when moving. I thought about throwing it away." His wife then revealed, "I almost filed for divorce. I, an art major, painted it for you. You were touched back then but forgot."

After 20 years of marriage, the couple now sleeps in separate beds. His wife commented, "When I was pregnant, I was scared of sharing a bed with him, fearing the baby might fall," pointing out his sleeping habits. After separating their sleeping spaces, she humorously admitted, "I secretly hope he doesn't come in," causing laughter.

When asked about the price of their beds, they revealed, "Two beds cost around 10 million won," surprising the production team. Ryu Jin also mentioned a bedside lamp costing 1.2 million won, expressing his shock at the price.

Ryu Jin couldn't recall the gift he gave his wife for their first anniversary. She chided, "Shouldn't you remember gifts given on special days? You gave it to me." Ryu Jin humorously responded, "I bought you a necklace with great effort, and you lost it. Let's call it even," causing laughter.

The video also featured their second son Chan-ho's room, a simple space with just a bed, desk, and computer. The couple explained, "Our middle school son just wanted it to be cool. The bed, which is good for the back, cost around 2 million won."

Sitting on his son's 700,000 won chair, Ryu Jin shared, "Chan-ho's computer has a password only parents know. He's used to it since childhood, so it's fine. He can use the computer from 9 PM to 12:30 AM, and must return all phones and gadgets to his mom by midnight. If they're not charged the next day, he gets very annoyed," showcasing their unique parenting style.

The couple chose their new home for their children's education. When asked about their sons Chan-hyung and Chan-ho's future careers, they said, "It's their choice. Nothing is decided." Regarding the possibility of them debuting as actors, Ryu Jin's wife commented, "They dislike being in the spotlight. On Pepero Day, Chan-hyung receives a lot, but Chan-ho doesn't get any. He even says he's not popular," expressing her concern.
