Dancer Cha Hyun-seung Reveals Leukemia Battle, Receives Support from K-Pop Stars

Cha Hyun-seung, a dancer who gained fame performing with singer Sunmi, has revealed his battle with leukemia.

On October 27, Cha took to Instagram to share his journey, stating, "In early June, my life came to a halt when I was rushed to the emergency room. Until then, I had been passing final auditions for projects I wanted to pursue, but a diagnosis of 'leukemia' stopped everything."

He admitted, "At first, it was hard to accept, and I couldn't tell anyone. Fear and confusion filled my days." However, he continued, "Now, I feel ready to speak honestly. I am currently undergoing treatment and quietly fighting each day."

Cha expressed determination, saying, "The road ahead is long, but I will overcome it. My dreams and passion are still alive, and I eagerly await the day I can stand on stage and in front of the camera again." He promised, "I will come back stronger and warmer."

Following the news, TVXQ's Changmin expressed his shock, saying, "It was so sudden.😢 Take care and regain your health!" 2PM's Taecyeon also offered support, saying, "What's going on... Stay strong and let's meet healthy!💪" KARA's Park Gyuri added, "Hyun-seung, you can overcome this. I'll pray for you!"

Notably, rapper Beenzino, who reportedly has no personal connection with Cha, extended his support, saying, "The treatment process must be really tough, but I hope you regain your health with a strong heart. I'm cheering for you. Fighting!"
