Son Ye-jin Heats Up Busan International Film Festival with Stunning Photos and Passionate Insights

Son Ye-jin has set the Busan International Film Festival abuzz with her latest update against the backdrop of the Busan sea.

On Instagram, Son Ye-jin shared a photo with the caption, "Busan International Film Festival 'Hopeless' premieres on September 24th. Please come and watch."

In a comment, she expressed her passion for acting, saying, "This is something I always ponder. With each project, I play different characters and constantly think about what the director wants to convey through this work. I engage in endless discussions with directors and co-actors about what this character should express in each scene. Sometimes interpretations differ, and we work together to create each scene by understanding each other's thoughts. There are moments when I don't understand the lines or actions of my character, and I have to convince myself to persuade the audience. It's a challenging but enjoyable process."

In the photos, Son Ye-jin is seen on a balcony overlooking Haeundae, dressed in a black turtleneck top and a slim skirt, creating an all-black silhouette. The dazzling early autumn sunlight, blue sky, and golden sandy beach come together to create a cinematic scene. Her relaxed pose with one hand on the railing, a smile on her face, and earrings adding a touch of elegance enhance her sophisticated style. In another shot, she gazes at the sea from the side, completing a luxurious atmosphere with the city skyline.

Born in 1982, Son Ye-jin is married to fellow actor Hyun Bin, and they have one son. Meanwhile, Son Ye-jin, along with Lee Byung-hun, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, and Yum Hye-ran, stars in Park Chan-wook's new film 'Hopeless,' which has been officially invited to compete at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. Ahead of the film's release on September 24th, Son Ye-jin is set to continue her promotional activities, including attending the Busan International Film Festival.
