YoonA of Girls' Generation Embraces Her Acting Journey with Confidence and Growth
On the 19th, the YouTube channel 'Una Beck's Joogobatgo(백은하의 주고받고)' featured YoonA in a video titled 'Acting Tyrant, YoonA's Era as an Actress'.
During the episode, YoonA, known for her natural and understated acting style despite her idol origins, expressed, "I naturally gravitate towards the classic and understated rather than the flashy and bold. I think my acting follows that instinct."
Actor Park Jung-min, who co-starred with YoonA in the film 'Miracle', praised her, saying, "She is someone who is well-grounded and expresses herself fearlessly and confidently."
Known to the public as the 'deer', Park Jung-min humorously described YoonA as a "Teto girl", drawing laughter.
YoonA shared, "Once I'm sure, I make decisions firmly. I used to be shy, but now I walk boldly. I feel like I can express what I used to hide and show my true self."
She continued, "I've always shown my sincerity, but each decade is different. If I previously showed a set image or character, now I want to share my own story."
Discussing with her Girls' Generation members, YoonA said, "We joke that there's no concept we haven't tried. But in acting, I feel there are many characters I haven't shown yet. There will be surprises beyond the predictable images people associate with me."
Meanwhile, YoonA is gaining popularity with her role in the tvN weekend drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty'.
