The YouTube community and fans are mourning the loss of popular YouTuber Daedoseogwan, whose real name was Na Dong-hyun, who passed away at the age of 46.

On October 7, comedian Ahn Young-mi shared a heartfelt message on her social media, saying, "Rest in peace. I will remember you," accompanied by a photo of a chrysanthemum. Although she did not mention his name directly, the timing suggests it was a tribute to the late Daedoseogwan.

TV personality Harisu also expressed her condolences on October 6, writing on her personal channel, "It feels like just yesterday we met on MBN's 'Voice Trot'... May you rest peacefully in heaven... Rest in peace." On the same day, fashion designer Lee Chung-chung, son of designer Lee Sang-bong, shared a photo with the deceased, writing, "Dear Dong-hyun, my friend. Your bright spirit and energy were a blessing to us. I never thought this would be our last photo together." He added, "I'm so sad. I hope only happiness surrounds you. Don't be in pain. Why do precious things keep disappearing?"

Comedian Kim Dae-beom also paid tribute on October 6, stating, "I'm in shock and disbelief. As one of Korea's top YouTubers, he was incredibly kind and polite. Why did Daedoseogwan, who brought such positive energy, have to leave us so soon? It's too early."

Daedoseogwan was found deceased at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on October 6. Authorities were alerted by a friend who reported his absence at a scheduled meeting and inability to reach him. According to a media report, a police official stated, "It is presumed that Mr. Na died due to an illness. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death."

Daedoseogwan was a pioneering internet broadcaster with 1.44 million subscribers on YouTube. After his divorce in 2023, he appeared on shows like Netflix's 'The Influencer' and tvN's 'Finding Super K.' He recently attended the 2026 S/S Seoul Fashion Week show at Dongdaemun Design Plaza on October 4.
