This figure surpasses the first-generation NEXO's contract numbers by four times, which stood at 1,500 units during the same period following its 2018 release.

In July alone, 1,001 units of the new NEXO were sold. This marks the first time the NEXO model has sold over 1,000 units in a month since November 2022, when 1,096 units were sold.

The surge in sales is attributed to a combination of factors, including the Yoo Jae-suk effect, a complete redesign and performance improvements, and promotional offers that reduce the financial burden on buyers.

Previously, Yoo Jae-suk responded to a love call by joining the NEXO journey, sharing a video on Hyundai's official YouTube channel and his agency Antenna's official Instagram account.

In the video's final scene, Yoo Jae-suk states, "So I drive a NEXO. I really do," explaining his choice of the vehicle.
