K-Pop Star Sean Completes 81.5km Marathon, Donates Proceeds to Independence Patriots' Descendants

K-pop singer Sean has touched hearts with his recent achievement.

On October 1st, Sean shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram, stating, "After completing the 81.5km marathon on August 15, 2025, I received a trophy of honor. Four of my toenails, including the left big toe, are lifted, and the right big toe and second toenail are ready to fall off. Four are still okay^^." Alongside the caption, he posted a photo showing the condition of his feet.

The image reveals the toll the marathon took on Sean's feet, with most toenails in poor condition. Despite this, Sean expressed gratitude, saying, "Thanks to my best efforts on the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day, I was able to write and deliver a thank-you letter of 81.5km."

On August 15, Sean donated 8.15 million won (approximately $6,800) from the marathon proceeds to support the descendants of independence patriots. This marks his sixth donation of this kind.

Sean, who married actress Jung Hye-young in 2004, is a father of two sons and two daughters. Known for his philanthropic efforts through running, Sean is also celebrated for his loving relationship with Jung Hye-young, often counting the days since their marriage.
