Song Joong-ki Reflects on Past Struggles and Shares Hopes for Hanwha Eagles

On the YouTube channel 'Yoo Yeon-seok's Weekend Drama,' Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee appeared in the episode titled 'Visit from Real Friends of Youth.'
During the episode, Song Joong-ki humorously revealed that he once ran into Yoo Yeon-seok while taking a neighborhood walk. "I was in my tracksuit and hadn't even washed my hair, but he was all dressed up early in the morning. I kept looking around to see if there were cameras," he joked.

Yoo Yeon-seok, who worked with Song Joong-ki in the 2012 film 'A Werewolf Boy,' reminisced, "Though he's a year younger than me, he carried himself like a leading actor responsible for the set."
Yoo Yeon-seok also asked if Song Joong-ki, known as the 'Son of Daejeon,' received any special treatment from the famous bakery Sung Sim Dang. Song Joong-ki proudly shared, "The owner of Sung Sim Dang and my mother have been friends since childhood, and I know their children too," jokingly referring to himself as having a 'bread spoon' privilege.

Expressing his joy over the recent performance of the Daejeon-based baseball team Hanwha Eagles, Song Joong-ki exchanged socks with a staff member who is also a fan, saying, "We've shed tears for so long... We've really been through a lot."
When Yoo Yeon-seok mentioned that the Hanwha Eagles might be on the verge of winning for the first time in 20 years, Song Joong-ki expressed cautious optimism, saying, "It would be great to win once."

However, when faced with a balance game between 'My Youth' achieving a 30% viewership rating and the Hanwha Eagles winning, Song Joong-ki chose the success of the drama, bringing laughter to the set.
