South Korean Actress Son Dam-bi Gets Emotional Over Daughter Hae-yi

South Korean actress Son Dam-bi recently got emotional thinking about her daughter, Hae-yi.

On the 29th, Son Dam-bi's YouTube channel 'DambiXon' released a video titled 'Queen Bee Returns After 3 Years, But Mom's Tears Overflow'.

In the video, Son Dam-bi shared her excitement about her day, saying, "Today is a self-care day. I'm going to get a massage, try on outfits, and get my nails done."

Her husband, Lee Kyu-hyuk, seemed momentarily taken aback by her enthusiasm, jokingly saying, "You're coming home late today? You're trying to keep me at home," while lowering his voice for their sleeping daughter, Hae-yi.

Son Dam-bi, excited to drive and go out after a long time, expressed her joy, saying, "I'm so thrilled." After trying on a short dress and a slit skirt, she humorously remarked, "This is really revealing. It's too much."

She shared that she tiptoed into the bedroom for her sleeping daughter and admitted, "I usually don't get my nails done unless I have work, but doing it after a long time suddenly lifted my spirits."

Son Dam-bi also shared her current reading list, which includes books like 'Adult Literacy' and 'Adult Vocabulary Study' to aid her acting and MC career, as well as 'We Will Always Meet Again' purchased to read to her daughter.

While reading a book that captures a child's growth through pictures and short texts, Son Dam-bi confessed, "I cried while reading it. It's not sad, but I cried because I could relate," as she read aloud a passage about a mother's fear of leaving her sleeping child.

Son Dam-bi revealed her maternal instincts, saying, "Even when my daughter was a newborn and sleeping, I couldn't leave her side. I would check her breathing by placing my hand under her nose. I was scared even though nothing was wrong."

When Lee Kyu-hyuk complimented their daughter after a bath, saying, "You're handsome," Son Dam-bi playfully corrected him, "Say she's pretty." She affectionately added, "Of course she's pretty, she's my daughter," while holding her daughter and cooing, "You're so pretty, my baby," showcasing her doting nature.

Returning to broadcasting after three years, Son Dam-bi proudly announced, "I've returned to my original weight," sharing her 13kg weight loss and flaunting her perfect outfit fit.

Son Dam-bi married former speed skater Lee Kyu-hyuk in 2022 and welcomed their daughter, Hae-yi, in April.
