Kim Nam-joo's Conflicting Statements on Husband's Missing Report Resurface Rumors

Actress Kim Nam-joo has recently reignited rumors of discord with her husband, Kim Seung-woo, by revealing a different account of a missing person report incident from six years ago.

On the morning of the 28th, SBS Life's variety show 'Queen of Insight Kim Nam-joo' released a press statement where Kim Nam-joo introduced her newly renovated studio kitchen, stating, "For the first time since marriage, I have a space just for myself."

She added, "I think all mothers can relate. It's difficult to have a space of your own. I wanted to be alone, but there was nowhere to go," sharing a personal anecdote.

Kim Nam-joo recalled, "Our kitchen is small, so my husband and I rehearse lines there. But when the kids were young, I felt so suffocated. I had no space of my own and wanted to be alone, so I went to a hotel. I watched TV and ate food, and it was wonderful. I didn't answer calls, and my husband reported me missing to the police."

She continued, "I stayed at the hotel for a day, and when my daughter worried about me, I brought her to the hotel. I told her I was fine, and she asked for pho, so we ate together," she laughed.

The incident occurred on May 30, 2019, when Kim Seung-woo reported to the police that he couldn't reach Kim Nam-joo, sparking rumors of discord between the couple.

At the time, a representative from The Queen AMC stated, "The rumors of discord are unfounded. Kim Nam-joo's hair and makeup artist had a celebration, and they gathered at the hotel. I was also present." They further explained, "Kim Nam-joo's phone battery died, and when Kim Seung-woo couldn't reach her, he reported it to the police out of concern."

They emphasized, "There was no fight or discord. It happened because Kim Seung-woo loves Kim Nam-joo so much."

While six years ago, it was explained that several people gathered at the hotel for a celebration, Kim Nam-joo now claims she went alone. This discrepancy has left netizens confused, with comments like, "The stories are completely different. It's hard to know what's true."

Adding to the intrigue, the scene was omitted from the video released on a YouTube channel that morning, contrary to the press release.
