Girls' Generation's Yuri Takes on Fish Farm Job, Earns Less Than Minimum Wage

On October 25, Yuri's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'A Day in the Life of Yuri Taking Care of 2,000 Flatfish - One-Day Part-Time Job at a Jeju Fish Farm.'
In the video, Yuri accepted an offer from the owner of a fish farm, who is a regular at her café, to experience a day of work at the farm.
Upon her arrival, a fish farm staff member was surprised by the number of people accompanying her, to which Yuri jokingly responded, "I'm a star, so I usually travel with a crowd, but today it's just a small group."

Despite her initial fear, Yuri was determined to adapt, even as she screamed at the flapping fish beneath her feet. She quickly got the hang of it, showcasing her skills by catching three fish.
She then took on the challenge of catching ten stressed flatfish for a health check, humorously commenting on their appearance, "Isn't it fascinating how they have two eyes but look squished?"

During a late wage negotiation, Yuri expressed that the job required more effort than the minimum wage. The production team suggested she should at least earn enough for three cups of coffee, leading her to ambitiously request 12,000 won.
However, Yuri's negotiation was unsuccessful. The fish farm owner offered her 5,000 won, promising to buy her a cup of coffee instead. When asked for a group photo, Yuri humorously claimed she would charge 200 won per photo.
Concluding her experience, Yuri reflected, "Earning money isn't easy," while the fish farm staff, who are regulars at her café, praised her coffee and service.
