BTS's V to Throw First Pitch at LA Dodgers Game

BTS member V has been selected to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game for the LA Dodgers.

On August 17th, the LA Dodgers announced via their official account, "ARMY, are you ready? V will be throwing the first pitch at Dodger Stadium on August 25th." V is set to take the mound at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles for the game between the LA Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds on August 25th.

Previously, the LA Dodgers had chosen soccer player Son Heung-min as a ceremonial first pitcher. The team posted on their official account on August 13th, "Los Angeles Sonny. Watch Son Heung-min throw the first pitch at Dodger Stadium on August 27th."

Meanwhile, V completed his military service in December 2023, serving in the Army's 2nd Corps Military Police Special Mission Unit, and was discharged on June 10th. With all BTS members having fulfilled their military duties by June, they are gearing up for a full group comeback in 2026.
