BLACKPINK's Jisoo Crowned Top Female Solo Idol at 13th Top Ten Awards

Organized by TENASIA, the 13th TTA is an event that selects the best global artists for the first half of 2025. Artists representing K-pop and K-content vied for the 'Best Global Artist' title at this prestigious event.
Jisoo debuted on August 8, 2016, as a member of BLACKPINK with the release of 'Whistle' and 'Boombayah'. Celebrating their 9th anniversary on August 8, BLACKPINK members shared congratulatory messages and commemorative photos on their personal social media accounts. Jisoo posted a selfie with her members from a music video shoot, simply captioned '9♥'.

Jisoo is also active as an actress and recently completed filming for the movie 'Omniscient Reader'. She shared on social media, "It's a chaotic scene at Chungmuro Station. I'm shooting like a still cut during breaks. It was Jihye's last day of filming," updating fans on her latest activities.
'Omniscient Reader' is a fantasy action film where the world of a novel becomes reality on the day the novel, serialized for over 10 years, concludes. It follows Kim Dok-ja, the novel's sole reader, as he teams up with the protagonist Yoo Joong-hyuk and other allies to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.
The preliminary voting for TTA took place from May 19 to June 1, followed by the final voting from June 5 to 14. Cha Eun-woo was selected in the Male Actor category, ASTRO in the Male Idol Group category, Kim Hye-yoon in the Female Actor category, and NiziU in the Female Idol Group category. BTS's V and BLACKPINK's Jisoo were named in the Male and Female Solo Idol categories, respectively. The Rookie award went to NEXZ, while Son Tae-jin and Kim Tae-yeon were chosen in the Male and Female Solo Singer categories. Park Seo-jin's 'Honey Tip' was awarded Best Song.
