Ko Myung-hwan to Share Life Lessons on tvN's 'Accidental Adult' 10th Anniversary Special

tvN STORY's 'Accidental Adult' celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special appearance by Ko Myung-hwan, a comedian who has transformed into a bestselling author.

Airing today, the 10th anniversary special of 'Accidental Adult' will feature Ko Myung-hwan, a man of many talents including comedian, actor, restaurant CEO, bestselling author, and star lecturer. Ko, who was named 'Author of the Year' in 2024 alongside Nobel Prize-winning author Han Kang, will deliver an inspiring lecture titled 'How Much Is Your Life Worth?' offering insights on designing a valuable and limitless life.

Ko Myung-hwan's journey in the entertainment industry began with five years of obscurity before he gained fame as a comedian and actor. However, a sudden car accident changed his life. In a critical condition, he was advised by doctors to leave his last words. This moment of crisis led him to reflect on living a life dictated by others' standards, which he deeply regretted.

After a miraculous recovery, Ko decided to break free from societal norms and pursue a life of his own making. Despite being a student who neither studied nor read much, he credits 'reading' as the key to his transformation into an author. Like the saying 'You see as much as you know,' reading expanded his thoughts and experiences, ultimately leading him to become a bestselling author. Additionally, he overcame four business failures to find success as an entrepreneur.

Ko will also share special reading techniques and tips for breaking mental barriers with the audience.
