Actress Im Soo-jung recently shared her thoughts on the renewed popularity of the classic drama 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' during her appearance on the YouTube show 'Salon Drip 2,' hosted by Jang Do-yeon.

On the show, Im expressed her delight at the younger generation, known as the MZ generation, rediscovering the drama that aired 21 years ago. She remarked, "It's nice to see them watching it."

Reflecting on the drama's original broadcast, Im admitted she didn't fully grasp its popularity at the time. "There were fans called 'MISA Pains,' but instead of feeling the popularity, I was more like, 'What's happening?' I wanted to hide when people around me kept saying it was great," she confessed.

The drama's fashion, including Im's rainbow knit and Ugg boots, has become a topic of interest again, along with the iconic poster. Im revealed, "The poster was actually a still from the set. So Ji-sub and I were crouching by a trash can waiting for the next scene, and they liked the image so much it became the poster."

When asked about her first impression of the drama's famous line, "Do you want to eat? Or die with me?" Im recalled, "I thought, 'What kind of line is this?' I didn't expect So Ji-sub to deliver it with such intensity on set. His anger and rising emotions made me feel his affection, which was touching."

Im also shared that she cried when she first received the script for 'MISA.' "The title 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' was so different, I wondered, 'What is this?' Our drama was planned to have a sad ending from the start, with Cha Moo-hyuk's terminal illness and Eun-chae following him. We filmed the ending during the first shoot, and everyone loved how it showed their deep love for each other," she reminisced.
