Soyou Addresses Rumors of Discord with Hyolyn and Shares Insights on SISTAR's Dynamics

On October 21, Soyou appeared on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung Shindongyeop' alongside fellow SISTAR member Bora.
During the show, Soyou clarified her strong image by stating, "We never tried to intimidate our juniors."
Bora added, "There were times when juniors passed by without greeting us. Instead of confronting them, Soyou would say, 'They didn't greet us.' Then I'd jokingly say, 'Who? I'll glare at them.'"

Regarding the rumor that "Hyolyn hit Soyou in the van," Soyou explained, "I think it's because of our strong images. We might have fueled the rumors because Hyolyn and I joke around a lot."
Bora clarified, "We might speak harshly to each other, but we don't get hurt. People overhear us in the waiting room and think we're fighting, but we're not." Soyou added, "I still use formal language with Hyolyn and Bora, showing respect as a younger member."

Bora, born in 1989 but considered a 'fast 90,' said, "When people born in 1990 tried to speak informally, I'd say, 'I'm friends with those born in '89.'" Meanwhile, Soyou humorously recounted, "After changing my birth year, someone at 'Idol Star Athletics Championships' said, 'You're younger than me? Call me unnie.' I agreed at the moment but avoided them afterward to prevent issues."
Soyou also mentioned, "I was surprised to hear that Girls' Generation members shared their dating lives. We didn't. If we sensed something, we'd say, 'Meet at the dorm. We'll leave.' This led to misunderstandings."

Soyou, who recently released the song 'PDA' (Public Display of Affection), confessed, "I've never been on an outdoor date with a boyfriend."
