Pentagon's Hui Announces Departure from Cube Entertainment, Shares Heartfelt Message with Fans

Pentagon member Hui has announced his departure from Cube Entertainment, sharing his thoughts and emotions with fans.

On the 16th, Hui took to Instagram to reveal, "I have something important to share," and continued, "My contract with Cube Entertainment has ended. It's a place that holds a special place in my heart as I've been with them since my trainee days."

He explained his decision not to renew his contract, saying, "It still doesn't feel real, and I'm scared, but I believe it's time to prepare for a new beginning, so I've cautiously decided to take a new step."

During his time with the agency, Hui earned the title of 'genius composer' by producing hit songs like Wanna One's 'Energetic' and 'Never.' He expressed gratitude, saying, "I deeply thank all the Cube staff who have sincerely helped me grow as an artist named Hui. It was a great fortune to work with such good people at such a good company."

Hui, who recently shared news of a nose injury, reassured fans, "Our precious Universe (fandom name), you must have been surprised by the sudden injury news, and now I'm worried that sharing this contract news might have added to your concerns. I'm focusing on recovery and resting well, so don't worry."

Now a free agent, Hui reflected, "As time passes, changes naturally come, and it seems like I'm at that point in my life. Let's continue to nurture our happiness together. Just thinking about it excites me."

Hui debuted as a member of Pentagon in 2016, showcasing his producing skills with self-composed tracks like 'Shine,' 'Daisy,' and 'Like This.' Last year, he also demonstrated his versatility by starring in the musical 'Bloody Love.'
