BTS's Jungkook Returns to Instagram, Gaining 6 Million Followers in Record Time

BTS's Jungkook has proven his immense popularity by rejoining social media after a two-year hiatus.

On the 15th, Jungkook launched a new Instagram account and hosted a live broadcast, announcing, "This is JK's (Jungkook's) new Instagram. I created it for multi-live purposes."

In 2023, Jungkook deleted his personal Instagram account, which had amassed 52.4 million followers. At the time, he explained, "It wasn't hacked; I just decided not to use it anymore."

Now, nearly two years later, his newly created account has already attracted approximately 6 million followers. Jungkook is following the official BTS account and the accounts of his six fellow members, excluding himself.

The account name 'mnijungkook' is said to stand for 'My name is Jungkook.'

Meanwhile, BTS is set to make a full group comeback in 2026.
