Born in 1979, actor Gong Yoo is currently working on a new project with Song Hye-kyo, while also proving his global presence through a feature in an American fashion magazine.

On the 10th local time, the American fashion magazine 'Harper's Bazaar' released a list titled 'The 50 Hottest Men of All Time,' highlighting individuals who have captivated audiences worldwide.

The magazine stated, "The 50 individuals on this list possess a unique charm that moves hearts globally," and selected the most beautiful men from the past 60 years of pop culture history without ranking them. Among those mentioned were James Dean, Marlon Brando, Pedro Pascal, and Hayden Christensen, with Gong Yoo introduced as the 48th.

'Harper's Bazaar' noted, "Even if one vows never to participate in 'Squid Game,' anyone can be swayed by Gong Yoo's persuasiveness," highlighting the allure of Gong Yoo's 'Salesman' character in 'Squid Game.' The intense slap scene and the traditional Korean game of ddakji were mentioned as memorable points.

In 'Squid Game,' Gong Yoo appeared as the character who recruits participants to the game arena, leaving a strong impression despite limited screen time, capturing the attention of viewers worldwide. In Season 2, he is praised for elevating the tension with a more intense and crazed portrayal.

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo is reportedly filming the Netflix series 'Slowly and Intently,' written by Noh Hee-kyung. The series is set against the backdrop of the Korean entertainment industry from the 1960s to the 1980s, depicting the growth stories of individuals striving for success with nothing to their name.

Gong Yoo plays the role of 'Dong-gu,' a childhood friend of Min-ja (played by Song Hye-kyo) who later enters the music industry with her. He collaborates with a diverse cast, including Song Hye-kyo, Kim Seol-hyun, Cha Seung-won, and Lee Ha-nui.
