Hyeri of Girl's Day Reportedly Dating Dancer Woo Tae: Agency Confirms 'Fact-Checking in Progress'

Reports have emerged that Hyeri, former member of the K-pop group Girl's Day and now an actress, is in a relationship with dancer Woo Tae. Hyeri's agency, Sublime, has stated that they are currently "fact-checking" the reports.

On the morning of the 1st, a media outlet reported that Hyeri and Woo Tae have been dating for over a year. In response, a representative from Hyeri's agency, Sublime, commented that they are "currently verifying the facts" regarding the dating rumors.

According to the report, the two met through the film 'Victory,' in which Hyeri starred last year. Woo Tae was reportedly Hyeri's dance instructor for her role as a cheerleader in the movie.

Woo Tae, born in 1991, is three years older than Hyeri, who was born in 1994. He gained public recognition through the Mnet survival show 'Street Man Fighter' in 2022, where he showcased his leadership and dance skills as a member of the project crew Mbitious. Currently, Woo Tae is affiliated with THE L1VE LABEL and is active as a dancer, choreographer, and professor.

Hyeri publicly dated actor Ryu Jun-yeol, whom she met on the set of the tvN drama 'Reply 1988,' for seven years before officially announcing their breakup in November 2023. Earlier last year, she was embroiled in a controversy over a rumored 'rebound relationship' with actress Han So-hee.

Hyeri received praise for her role in the drama 'Friendly Competition' last year, marking a new milestone in her acting career since her iconic role as 'Duk-seon.' She is set to appear in the upcoming film 'Tropical Night.' Additionally, Sublime mentioned in May last year that Hyeri was considering a role in 'Chair Time,' a drama about a top industry executive who meets an eccentric dentist and finds healing and love. Hyeri has been offered the role of 'Lee In-young,' a dental hygienist and executive director.
