Actor Jin Tae-hyun Reveals Surprise Sibling Amid Thyroid Cancer Recovery

Actor Jin Tae-hyun, currently recovering from thyroid cancer surgery, has surprised fans by revealing his younger sister.

On the 26th, Jin Tae-hyun shared a photo on his Instagram story with the caption, "A sister who gives me allowance, she's so cute. I feel like I'm already healed."

The photo showed a handwritten note and several 50,000 won bills in an envelope. Jin Tae-hyun revealed, "I have a younger sister. She's not my biological sister, but she's been with us for three years," surprising his followers.

He described his sister as "a personal coach on some days, a naive sibling on others, and a wonderful runner," adding, "She was praying around the hospital on the day of my surgery. I believe true family is about making efforts and expressing love for each other."

Previously, Jin Tae-hyun had revealed on social media last month that he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and was preparing for surgery. He assured his fans, "It was detected early and is small, but surgery is necessary before it spreads. I will manage my commitments and rest well, so please don't worry too much."

Jin Tae-hyun married actress Park Si-eun in July 2015. The couple adopted a college student, Park Davida, in 2019. They successfully conceived in 2021 after hoping for a second child, but tragically lost the baby 20 days before the due date. In January, they adopted two more daughters.
