HyunA Celebrates 16th Anniversary of 4Minute with Heartfelt Tribute

HyunA, former member of the K-pop group 4Minute, celebrated the group's 16th anniversary by tagging leader Nam Ji-hyun in a heartfelt post.

On October 18, HyunA shared a series of photos on her Instagram with the caption, "We were truly beautiful, precious," conveying deep emotions. In the photos, HyunA is seen holding a bouquet with a radiant smile. The flowers were a gift from Nam Ji-hyun, a fellow 4Minute member.

Nam Ji-hyun responded in the comments, saying, "We were really beautiful. Precious," expressing her affection for the journey they began together 16 years ago. As the leader of 4Minute, Nam Ji-hyun commemorated the group's debut anniversary by visiting each member with flowers and cake. She also shared her reflections on Instagram, posting, "It's already been 16 years. So much has happened, and I wonder what we'll be like 16 years from now," alongside photos from their time in 4Minute.

Jeon Ji-yoon and Kwon So-hyun also shared the flowers and cake prepared by Nam Ji-hyun on their social media, celebrating the 16th anniversary together. Kwon So-hyun expressed her gratitude, saying, "Despite being busy, leader Ji-hyun unnie prepared flowers and cake in advance to meet each member personally. I respect her thoughtfulness and care. Thanks to her, it became a meaningful 16th anniversary for the five of us. Thank you."

HyunA originally debuted as a founding member of Wonder Girls in 2007, later leaving the group and re-debuting as the center and main performer of 4Minute on June 18, 2009. 4Minute became a leading force in the golden era of K-pop girl groups, producing numerous hit songs before officially disbanding in 2016 after seven years.

Currently pursuing a solo career, HyunA married former BEAST (now Highlight) member Yong Jun-hyung in October last year.
