Shin Seung-ho Exempted from Military Service Due to Injury

According to a report by TenAsia on the 18th, Shin Seung-ho received a military exemption due to a cruciate ligament injury.
Shin sustained the injury in 2021 and underwent surgery immediately. Despite having no major injuries during his time as a soccer player, he tore his cruciate ligament during a personal engagement, leading to his military exemption being confirmed by the end of that year. At the time of his injury, Shin was filming a drama and was able to complete the shoot thanks to the production team's support.

Shin is set to appear in the upcoming film 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint,' which premieres on November 23. The fantasy action movie follows 'Kim Dok-ja,' the sole reader of a novel, as he navigates a world where the novel's events become reality. Shin plays Lee Hyun-sung, a soldier who aids the protagonists in their struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. This marks another military role for Shin following 'D.P.'
Shin has also chosen the drama 'Insiders' as his next project. Directed by Mo Wan-il of 'The World of the Married' and 'In the Woods Where No One Exists,' and written by Lee Ki-cheol of 'Mogadishu' and 'Assassination,' the series features a star-studded cast including Song Kang-ho, Soo Ae, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Ji-yeon, and Kim Ye-rim.
Born in 1995, Shin Seung-ho debuted in 2018 with the web drama 'A-Teen.' He has since appeared in 'At Eighteen,' 'Love Alarm,' 'Friend Contract,' 'D.P.,' 'Weak Hero Class 1,' 'Alchemy of Souls,' and 'Pilot.'
