Actress Lee Joo-young to Throw First Pitch at SSG Landers Game

Actress Lee Joo-young is set to make her first-ever ceremonial first pitch.

Lee Joo-young will participate in the game between the SSG Landers and the KIA Tigers on the 22nd at Incheon SSG Landers Field. She will take the mound as the honorary pitcher, wishing for an SSG Landers victory.

Lee expressed her excitement, saying, "I feel deeply honored and grateful for this opportunity, as I have a special connection with the SSG Landers. I vividly remember filming the movie 'Baseball Girl' at Munhak Stadium with the support of the team. I will prepare for the pitch with all my heart, recalling the moments of intense training back then, and hope to contribute to the excitement of the game. I sincerely cheer for the players who have been preparing diligently for victory and for the fans who will be cheering passionately despite the hot weather."

Lee Joo-young is currently active on the theater stage. Following her debut play 'Sanctuary City,' she will take on the role of the bold and adventurous female lead Viola de Lesseps in the play 'Shakespeare in Love,' opening on July 5th. Additionally, Lee will appear in the Wavve drama 'Danzye,' engaging with viewers soon.
