BTS's SUGA Nears Completion of Military Service: BIGHIT MUSIC Issues Statement

On the 18th, BIGHIT MUSIC, SUGA's agency, announced, "We would like to provide information regarding BTS's SUGA's discharge."
The statement continued, "SUGA is set to complete his service as a social service agent and will soon be discharged. There will be no official events on the day of his discharge."
BIGHIT MUSIC urged fans, "To prevent any safety incidents due to congestion, we earnestly request that fans refrain from visiting the site. We ask that you send your warm welcome and encouragement to SUGA in your hearts."
The agency concluded, "We are always grateful for the support and unwavering love you have shown SUGA. We will continue to do our best to support our artists. Thank you once again to all the fans who love BTS."
SUGA, who has been serving as a social service agent, is expected to be discharged on the 21st. Following the discharge of Jin and J-Hope last year, RM and V on the 10th, and Jimin and Jungkook on the 11th, BTS will become a 'military-completed idol group' with SUGA's discharge.
Meanwhile, SUGA was summarily indicted last August for violating traffic laws by riding an electric scooter under the influence in the Hannam-dong area of Yongsan-gu, Seoul. His blood alcohol concentration was 0.227%, nearly three times the license revocation standard. He received a summary order to pay a fine of 15 million KRW in September of the same year.
